Four UK founders share their stories, lessons and advice for women looking to start and grow a business
Four founders discuss their business journeys, work-life balance, raising finance and what their advice would be to other women thinking of starting a business of their own. The participants are Harriot Pleydell-Bouverie (Mallow and Marsh), Anna Cusden (Look Fabulous Forever), Michal Silver (Christopher Farr Cloth) and Rachel Jackson (Rachel Jackson London).
All four are graduates of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme and are at the growth/scale stage of their businesses.
At 02:44 they describe how they have each funded their businesses, the role of their boards and how they report to their investors. In the second half of the video, the founders share their tips for maintaining a good work/life balance and at 08:56 the one piece of advice they would give to a woman who was thinking of starting her own business.
