Businettes Against the Odds

This event is organised by Businettes, a pan-European female founder community with hubs in the UK, Germany, and France. We run events that bring together women who are building, fundraising, and persevering in business - often when the odds are stacked against them. On 7 October, 5–9pm at WeWork Waterhouse Square in London, we’re hosting our next in-person gathering: Against the Odds. Around 80 founders will join for an evening of connection, inspiration, and energy - and we’d love to open this up to your community as well. Here’s what’s happening on the night: Female founder food & drink showcase – a chance to taste and discover products made by women shaking up the F&B world. Headline speaker: Sonya Barlow – BBC presenter, entrepreneur, and author of Unprepared to Entrepreneur, sharing practical lessons on inclusion, resilience, and building a platform from scratch. Startup pitch competition – with free coaching for selected founders, plus the chance to showcase their business in front of peers, investors, and ecosystem partners. Community networking – a warm and welcoming space to meet founders at similar stages, swap stories, and leave with new collaborators, mentors, and friends.

Women in Private Markets Summit

A leading investment-focused summit gathering over 800 fund managers, investors, and thought‑leaders in private markets—covering private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and private debt. A high-calibre opportunity to explore gender diversity in institutional investment.
