Profile
Scottish EDGE is a private sector led social enterprise providing funding in the form of loans and grants and business support to early stage, innovative, high-growth potential businesses headquartered in Scotland through a competition process.
There are three categories:
- Scottish EDGE, where businesses can win up to £100,000 in the form of a 30% grant and a 70% loan
- Young EDGE for young people aged 18-30 where you can win up to a £15,000 grant
- Social Enterprise EDGE for asset locked social enterprises where you can win up to £75,000 in the form of a 70% grant and a 30% loan.
To date Scottish EDGE has invested over £22 million in 548 businesses.
