The Network arranges quarterly pitch presentation events, at which businesses pitch to a panel of Lincolnshire Business Angels. Each business gives a ten-minute presentation, followed by live Q&A with the Angels, who then give feedback on the presentation.
Typically, angel investors are interested in early-stage and start-up businesses looking to expand quickly, who need investment and guidance from an experienced business person. Often it is difficult for this type of business to raise other types of funding due to a short trading history.
