About the Invest in Women Hub

We’re passionate about seeing more women across the UK take the leap into entrepreneurship and unlock their untapped talent.

The Invest in Women Hub is run by the Council for Investing in Female Entrepreneurs, a voluntary collective that encourages and supports women in business. We fund our own participation through subscriptions and we’re independent of government.

The Council was set up in 2019 following the first Rose Review of Female Entrepreneurship led by Alison Rose, CEO of NatWest Group. The first Rose Review report found that a lack of funding was one of the most significant barriers women faced when looking to scale a business.

The Invest in Women Hub has been created to support more women to start and build thriving businesses, and meet the Rose Review’s objective of doubling the number of female entrepreneurs in the UK by 2030. Our focus is on securing finance, which our research showed was the main information gap experienced by women entrepreneurs.

Our vision

We’re committed to breaking down the barriers that women face when starting, growing or scaling a business. The Invest in Women Hub is the go-to destination for women seeking to raise capital and empowers you to embrace entrepreneurship – whatever stage of the journey you’re on.

Our contributors are experts from across the UK business ecosystem who share that goal. Together we’ve built the Hub to give you the tools and framework you need to make your business a success – whether you’re thinking about starting out, or exploring how to find the all-important finance you need for the next step.
