Female-led startups raise over $145M in just one week across Europe and the UK

In a strong indication of growing momentum within the female founder ecosystem, startups led or co‑founded by women secured over $145 million in venture capital across the UK and Europe last week.

This concentrated activity reflects increasing investor confidence in women-led innovation—particularly in high-growth sectors such as AI, sustainability, cybersecurity, and e-commerce.

🔹 Treefera (UK) raised $12M to expand its AI-powered forest data platform, used to manage sustainability in global supply chains.

🔹 Skyral (UK) secured £8M to support its advanced modelling-as-a-service platform across energy, health, and finance.

🔹 ThreatSpike Labs (UK) completed a $15M Series A to advance its real-time cybersecurity threat detection solution.

🔹 Fulfillmenttools (Germany) received €20M to optimise last-mile delivery and logistics for major retailers.

Additional deals were closed in France, Ireland, and Spain across healthtech and deep tech verticals.

While this level of activity is encouraging, it is important to note that all-female founding teams still attract a disproportionately small share of overall equity funding—making continued and focused efforts essential.

At Invest in Women Hub, we remain committed to showcasing and supporting female-led businesses that are scaling with purpose and performance.
