De Montfort University will host its first Women’s Entrepreneurship Summit to bring together aspiring and established women entrepreneurs from across the East Midlands and the UK. The event focuses on two key objectives: inspiring new women to enter the entrepreneurial space and offering mentorship and community for current women entrepreneurs.
This full-day event includes training, speaker sessions, and peer networking, all centred on the belief that women thrive through collaboration and community. Attendees will explore how entrepreneurship can drive meaningful change at personal, local, and national levels.
Open to women of all ages and backgrounds—with particular encouragement for Gen Z participants—the summit will feature talks from political leaders, local government figures, and successful businesswomen.
The daytime summit is free to attend and includes lunch.
Evening Gala & Community Impact Awards
🕖 19:00–22:00 | 💷 £50 per person | 🎟 Formal attire required
The evening concludes with a Gala and Awards Dinner, recognising exceptional women entrepreneurs whose ventures have created positive community impact across the region. The three-course dinner and award ceremony will celebrate resilience, purpose-driven leadership, and inclusive growth.
